The MVN11 media converter node is a robust network component forSIPLUS CMS4000.
Advantages:
Bidirectional conversion between an electrical and an opticalIEEE1394
To extend the range up to max. 500 m
Can also be used in conjunction with the RPN IEEE1394B repeaternode
应用
The MCN11 media converter node is a rugged media converter toincrease the range of the IEEE1394 bus. The MCN11 converts theelectrically transferred data bidirectionally into signals for theoptical transmission with which distances up to 500 m can becovered.
设计
The MCN11 media converter node has an electrical IEEE1394ainterface and an optical IEEE1394b interface.
Two MCN11 nodes are inserted into the path in order to extendthe bus distance. The optical bus cable used for the extension runsbetween the two nodes.
Alternatively, the MCN11 can be directly connected optically toan RPN IEEE1394B T001/T002 multi-port repeater.
The cable 6AT8000‑2AB20‑2AA2 and the mounting set6AT8000‑2BB00‑0XC0 are available as optional accessories, see"Accessories" → "Cables and mounting parts".
