为了提高PA66的机械特性，经常加入各种各样的改性剂。玻璃就是Zui常见的添加剂，有时为了提高抗冲击性还加入合成橡胶，如EPDM和SBR等
PA66主要用于汽车、机械工业、电子电器、精密仪器等领域。从Zui终用途看，汽车行业消耗的尼龙66占第一位，电子电器占第二位。大约有88%的尼龙66通过注射成型加工成各种制件，约12%的尼龙66则通过挤出、吹塑等成型加工成相应的制品。
