高温尼龙PPA/PA6T全称聚对苯二甲酰己二胺，ARLEN™为日本三井化学公司(MitsuiChemicals,Inc)所开发出的一种耐热性尼龙6T/66，是一种PA6T与PA66共聚的产物。其电子零件用的PA6T/66为一种基于对苯二甲酸，己二酸及己二胺的改质尼龙6T，其熔点高达310℃。PA6T/66的主要特性为的高温刚性，尺寸安定性以及耐化学品性。的特性使PA6T在许多领域包括汽车零件，机械零件以及电气/电子零件上有广泛的应用。以下用PA6T泛指PA6T/66。
1. 的耐焊接性 PA6T具有很高的熔点(310℃)，其热变形温度也很高(约290℃)，因此可显现的耐焊接性(reflowsolderability)。的耐焊接性使PA6T特别适用于表面黏着技术(SMT)用电子连接器。
2.优良的高温刚性 PA6T在高温下仍可维持相当高的模数，譬如说在120℃时的模量为23℃时模量的55%。也就是说PA6T在广泛温度范围间可维持稳定而且优良的刚性。

4. 吸水率低 对于尼龙树脂而言，PA6T的吸水率相当低，仅为尼龙66的1/4至1/3。因此，PA6T因吸水所造成的物性变化相对较小。
5.优良的尺寸稳定性 PA6T的吸水率相当低，因吸水而造成的尺寸变化相当小。PA6T的热膨胀系数相当稳定，在高温范围中仍然维持在相当低的水准，因此，对温度变化的尺寸稳定性良好。此外，PA6T因成型过程所造成翘曲很小。也就是说PA6T具有优良的尺寸稳定性。
6. 优良的流动性 PA6T具有良好的熔融流动性，很容易以射出成型来加工。此外，PA6T还具有优良的薄壁成型性，使其适于小零件的加工成型。
